We stayed in a limited sea-view room on the second floor. In hindsight, I would choose a bungalow. We really liked this hotel for its reasonably priced restaurant and outstanding location right on the beach. It was excellent value. The room was recently refurbished and painted but strangely lacked a TV. Who doesn't at least have a tablet these days? Internet was as good as any hotel I've been to. The room was just the right size too. Other than a brief moment, shower water pressure was good enough and there was hot water throughout our stay. Hopefully, they've addressed the issues mentioned by others and it was definitely not an issue for us. The dolphin tour is good value and definitely should be done which they can arrange, though, the other local tours seemed overpriced. The hotel allows you to charge expenses to your room which I always refuse for budgeting and fraud reasons. The spectacular feast charged to my room, resplendent with copious, ahem, "vodka shooters" worth almost two nights stay, proved the effectiveness of this policy. The hotel relented within a reasonable amount of time and I am sorry that they are out the bill. I hope they require showing a room key to solve this problem in future. Uncomfortable check out aside, I would stay again. The area was less crowded with tourists than other parts of Bali but still touristy. A good area for a quieter beach holiday.
