Our stay was enjoyable and mostly positive.
The lifeguards, hotel staff, THE FOOD and the food service/wait staff (at the beach/pool bars and eateries as well as the indoor, nicer restaurants), general cleanliness, gym, water park, were all 10/10. We really appreciated the availability of water stations, CLEAN outdoor restrooms, towels, etc.
There were a few minor but notable detractors. Daily, we were only left one wash cloth by housekeeping- seems insignificant, but I have never stayed anywhere that only gave one per day. We had to call the front desk multiple times to request more. The Starbucks near Stix Noodle eatery was absolutely dreadful. On 2 occasions they forgot entirely to put our food order in and acted annoyed when we flagged this after waiting 10+ mins. If you order anything other than black coffee, your order is made poorly, and if you ask for anything- i.e. confirmed they heard your order correctly or asked for forks with your food, you got an eye roll or dirty look. These employees were so rude without fail every single day. After several consecutive days of being treated like utter inconveniences to these people, we opted to wait a bit longer in the line of the smaller Starbucks, where we were treated like actual human beings by the employees. This was the worst Starbucks experience I've ever had. I'd love to see this remedied for future guests. Would also appreciate recycling bins throughout the resort for environmental sustainability & support.
