The place is nice, the cleaning & cooking local staff are very very nice.
I regret the behavior of the owner / manager who was not what I call "customer minded".
At first, because of a mistake about the room I booked thru the website, they made me feel guilty about this mistake as if I wanted to cheat them. I paid the supplementary fee for a better room, with aboslutely no discount, which could have make me a happier customer (of course they "didn't have to do so" but it's still a commercial gesture to soothe a tensions and anyway the room was free).
Then, the day before I left, my travel agent came while I was away and and told the manager the time for my taxi pick up to the airport for the following day. But the manager didn't give me the information, not even a paper message in my room. I had to call for the agency in Quito to get the information. When I asked the owner why he didn't give me the info the answer was "next time I won't take any info for the customers"...
So if you go to this hotel, just make sure you book the right room on the website because some rooms are really small and glaucous , and make sure not to have any supplementary need because the managers won't help you much.
