Icicle Village won't leave you out in the cold!

Incredible place for families (and pets!) to stay in Leavenworth. Like all the hotels here, you're going to pay a premium during peak event seasons (Christmas and Oktoberfest, namely), but there are some perks that make it all worth it: heated pool and hot tub (one communal, plus some rooms have their own private ones), min-golf course, a game room, a full spa, complimentary breakfast included with the room. Check out at 11am. Overnight parking also included, although your vehicle must be vacated by 2pm, so if you're staying for another day, you'll have to find street parking afterward. Our rooms was clean and spacious, and the massive shower (big enough for two, or three, if you're feeling adventurous) was a nice perk. Continuing our trend of spending very little time in our hotel, other than soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day, we didn't give the resort as much attention as it deserved, but of all the places we've stayed in Leavenworth over the years, Icicle Village quickly became our favorite. There are some minor trade-offs (literally), since the increased presence of minors (it's a family resort, after all) means there can be a bit more noise, thanks to the rugrats running around everywhere, but that's a minor nitpick (again, literally...hah!). It's cute, it's cozy, and its great for all ages. It may be an Icicle Village, but it won't leave you feeling cold!

During our stay, we experienced significant issues with the hot water. It ran out very quickly while showering, leaving us unable to finish properly. We reported this issue to the front desk, but they were unable to resolve it. They simply advised us to wait 30–40 minutes for the water tank to reheat. However, even after waiting for an hour, the problem persisted, and we had to finish our showers with cold water. My sister was unable to shower at all on the first night due to this issue. This was extremely inconvenient, especially given that it was winter. It was also disappointing considering that we paid $500 per night for our stay. Given the level of service expected at this price, I do not feel it was worth the cost.
