What a cool little motel. It's more of a motel, not a hotel, but with a nice Hotel feel. Staff was friggin AMAZING.. They upgraded our room when they ran out of rollaway beds. We only stayed a night because we were just traveling through to Daytona and then Key West, so we didn't want to break the bank. This place was perfect and not far from the beach. Unfortunately Pensacola Beach charges a toll Everytime you want to use that beach, but for us it was perfect..
The hotel was a motel style and initially, the room was okay and it was evident it had been recently remodeled but the tub was stained and didn't look clean. Then the rains hit and the sandbags outside the door and the leaking water from the ceiling ruined any hope for a good rating. The water rose quickly to the center of our wheels on the vehicle and the dripping inside meant we had to ask for another room. This room was on the second floor of an adjacent building, but lugging our luggage up the stairs in the rain was no fun and they offered no refund or discount to our stay. That was not right. Each day our key cards would not work and we had to have them reset. There weren't enough towels for the three of us to each have one. and no service was provided during our stay. The rooms were clearly swept and mopped prior to arrival, but the corners were caked with old dirt and the vent was covered in dust. At best it was a three- star experience, but more accurately a two-star. The desk staff was super friendly and tried their best so 3 stars.
For the money we paid for this was not worth it. I have stayed at those cheap motel 6 places alot better than this. The handle to the shower was about to fall off. The window in the bathroom was broke and the so was the blinds in the bathroom. The room had a very strong smell of the funny weed. Almost to the point me and the wife wanted to go to taco bell. Now I dont care if you want to do.....I just dont want to smell it.The ice machine did not have any ice in it as well. The floor was sticky in the bathroom.
cute for a quick weeekend and close to a lot of stores, restaurants, and the beach.
We had a little issue with the card to get in but the front desk was helpful and quick with resolving the issue.
You can hear the traffic from the toaf and the window unit kept turning off and on but it was okay. We enjoyed a nice Fathers Day wekend.
Definitely very nice energetic hospitality and the super clean and everyone was just so nice I appreciate it I will definitely stay again thank you so much
The hotel itself was not terrible and is in a great location. What made this experience poor for us was the behavior of some of the staff. Iâm assuming it was the groundskeeper, but he blared his music from his room day and night. The first night he did turn it off fairly early. The second night he played the music so loud that someone on the grounds ended up calling the police to report a noise complaint because it was well after 11 pm! The front office was called by multiple people with no answer which Iâm assuming why the police were called. The office was locked the majority of the time and when you would call the number on the door nobody would answer. There was an answering machine that said they would call you back, but they never did. Iâm just not sure what was going on, but we were not impressed and will not return to this hotel.
The room was very clean and renovated. Felt safe. The ground were well maintained. It was an older motel but they have really worked hard at keeping it up . Terry the maintenance man/ grounds keeper was supper friendly and really took pride in his work.
We booked a king bed room for us and our 5 year old daughter. Room was neat and clean so was the microwave and fridge. Only thing was I out how many people it was going to be and we only had two towels in the room. Overall we loved it.
The room was small but very tidy. There was only one night stand with a lamp with built in charging ports. If you have a lot of devices or traveling with more than 1 person, it could be a challenge.
