This place is shockingly disgusting. We would not recommend it to anyone. Camping outdoors would be better value for money.
Firstly, check in service was rude and sub-standard. Some might say that's just French people. But the man at the counter couldn't even utter any basic greetings beyond a grunt and a few other absolutely necessary one worded answers...and that's to someone who could speak in French! That's not French, it's just plainly discourteous.
Then when we got into the room it didn't have air conditioning or fan in heatwave. The showerhead was just dangling, so we asked for a room change. The same check in counter man came, knocked on the door, went into the room and without saying one word, crookedly attached the showerhead back on. He left without saying a word and we didn't even know if we could move to a new room. We knew he finished because we saw that the showerhead was sort of patched up. He had no manners and we are not sure how he manages to stay employed with such a bad attitude.
On a closer inspection of the room, it was dark, untidy, pubic hair in the shower, sand paper toilet paper, no soap, worn linen and towels. We didn't dare put anything in the bathroom for fear of the mould and germs.
The room is like a prison cell with a small window.
All of this for about €65 a night. It's not worth it at all. Who would pay €65 to be treated like a sub-class citizen? Première classe? What a joke. Plus bas classe (lowest class) in our opinion.
