We have always stayed at Tru and never had issues. This time was not clean at all. Nail clippings in bathroom on floor, red substance on toilet paper roll and sink counter, hair on bed when comforter was pulled back, bedside tables not wiped.

Cozy night

I stay there many times before and was very happy. But I always stayed on the Mall side of the hotel this time I was put on the highway side. I have a new note to myself that I will not be staying on the highway side as the early morning traffic was a bit much but other than that no complaints

Stayed here for dance competition and our first time here. Hotel was quiet and clean and met expectations other than parking when we returned later at night. Many cars were sitting covered in snow from the storm the previous day taking many spots from not being moved. Other than that great hotel!

The staff and the bed were comfortable and the airport shuttle was prompt. The room however had a broken light near the bed, an alarm clock that could not be set so I unplugged it and a broken "black out" shade. Housekeeping should make sure that maintenance is keeping things fixed

When we checked into the hotel it was fast and efficient. Our room was very small, and looked clean. Once we started looking around there was hair on the sheet/blankets and in the shower. Lots of dirt in the corners of the room. The breakfast was great, however it closed by 9am on the weekdays and 10am on the weekends. The location of this hotel is perfect! Only a few miles from Old Port, 20 mins away from the lighthouse and all the shopping ypu could think of.

If Spirit airlines gave birth to a hotel it’s this

Easy no frills, crisp, remodeled hotel that does the job. Close to everything. Easy parking. Reasonably clean. Grab and go free breakfast. Ice machine with disposable buckets and cups near lobby. Quiet. Very happy for the price.

Great getaway stay for the family!

Great stay, as this was a copycat family getaway like we did a month ago. The only gripe we had was that housekeeping knocked every morning asking if we were checking out, when they should have a list of rooms showing which rooms are checking out each day. Especially since we had an infant with us that they woke up from their nap to ask us this question. Not a huge issue, just would make more sense for housekeeping to have a list of rooms that are scheduled to check out instead of knocking door to door to ask. We plan to stay here again in the future, even with this minor issue. Breakfast was always well worth it and the front desk staff was amazing and friendly, as they were the last time we stayed here. Parking was interesting on Saturday, as there was nowhere to park at 3 in the afternoon, so we had to park in the mattress store parking area, which was a pain with both an infant and an almost 2-year old, but probably the consequence of having two hotels next to each other. Just odd, given that there wasn't anything special going on (as opposed to next weekend being St Patrick's Day weekend), but oh well. Just wish there was more assigned parking for each hotel, so there isn't so much of a fight for it for those like us with very young children. But again, we'll be back regardless ^_^
