A great stay
Ownership has clearly changed hands (it's now in the Marriott empire), and much of the hotel was under construction, which made us worry. But they gave us a serious upgrade, to a 2br cabin, which was delightful and really appreciated. All the staff were really friendly and eager to please too, from front office to cleaners to restaurant staff. Pity there's no more painting classes and such, but it's still in one of the most beautiful areas, and I'll be excited to see what it looks like after all the work. A great stay.

4/10 Fair

The hot tub was not working. The main lodge and restaurant was closed, and the icemaker didnt work. It seemed like the owners are letting the property go downhill during renovations. Basically get nothing for the $50 resort fee. The saving grace is the amazing setting.

Ok
Quiet place with a vintage vibe. Views are great. Only thing about the room that sucked was the bed- hope they Reno those too. Half the place is shut down for off season renovations. Would be nice to post that so people know when they book. We stayed for the Bronco offrodeo to be on site for the day off and not have to go back to town after. In hindsight I would have just stayed at a hotel in Moab.

Room is a cabin.
We were at the end of the season, the restaurant was closing for remodel soon, but the food was good. Our room was our own cabin right on the Colorado River, our back porch overlooked it. It was really a 2 bedroom home, terrific. Great fireplace and kitchen, dining area. Great efficient heater. Loved it.
