We were unaware this is a 'quiet' property, with periods of the day / night observed for quiet, which seemed a bit of a challenge with young children initially but in the end it had no impact. Definitely needed to have some Greek language , even google translate was not always appropriate for communicating with staff, however it is Greece and so what did we expect, did not hear any English people all week which was novel, and we did not mind, not a tourist area and so other than eat out, there is nothing to do, but we got on with the holiday and had a really lovely time, a car is essential, taxi's are expensive and no negotiations! The views out of the windows either end of the hall that runs through the middle of the apartments and of the sea are amazing. The beach has been ruined by rocks and items that have been brought in from the tide, so barely accessible only as a means to get into the sea, so shoes suitable for rocks and wearing in the sea are required. Francesco and his mum were pleasant, one of them always there, although the language barrier minimised conversation beyond smiles and the two words we learned, Hello and Thank you! Because the pool was lovely, a good size and cool in the very hot weather and there was a beach not to far away, and we were very happy to be together as a family, we had a fabulous holiday.
