Stayed with toddler - family friendly, and many other children present. Little on-site convenience store provided anything extra we needed for our room, this was helpful. Beautiful resort, landscaping and clean. Although the toddler water section is aging: broken water toys and some rust on water features. Toddler still had fun, and this section is conveniently located near the washrooms and pool/lunch restaurant. The kids club could use a good wipe and the materials could be cared for better before being offered to children - sharpen pencil crayons/broken toys. Space seems like an after thought, rather than a place that’s cared for or prioritized. Do not need to opt for premium all inclusive package offered during check in, regular all inclusive option was more than enough. The only downside was regular all-inclusive option didn’t include room service, but enough food options throughout resort and if you did want room service with your regular alll-inclusive package, you could pay a small fee upon checkout. Ophelia was an incredibly warm host and server, whenever we’d cross paths with her at dinner (offering meal/upcoming event suggestions, etc). Golf cart services were always readily available to move throughout resort. Hospitable and kind staff.

Late December All Inclusive stay. Super easy check-in. Food was great with plenty of options for an entire week. We used the free shuttle to go to the marina and tried two of the restaurants included in the inclusive sister hotel plan. Always great and super easy to obtain access with our bracelets and room number. We were on the fourth floor and saw whales almost every hour. Room was great. Beds and pillows perfect and so was shower pressure. Two gyms and both were great. It's rare for us to go back to any property (especially an all-inclusive), but unanimous vote that we would all go back! Thank you!

The food was amazing at every restaurant and every meal. Did y have a bad meal all week. The drinks, weren’t great. I don’t think they mix them properly and most weren’t worth having a second one of. Service was also a little slow for drinks around the pool and it wasn’t that busy. They had a glitch in their system which made for a rather embarrassing moment at dinner and spoiled what was supposed to be a great dinner. Front desk took care of the issue the next day but we lost out on amenities we paid for that their system didn’t show. They also tried to charge both groups double for the airport shuttle and corrected the mistake when called out but it was strange seeing that happen to both parties. The views are unreal. The property is in great shape. The pitching course is in great shape but overpriced. Really enjoyed our time there, just some minor things that stood out.

Beautiful resort to walk around. Our room was very clean and anytime we needed something staff was very helpful. Nice variety of restaurants on the resort and at the sisters property by the marina. Our only complaint is the fact you have to make reservations for every restaurant in the evenings several days in advance or you don't get in. We enjoyed taking advantage of the shuttle offered to go to the marina. We did the all inclusive and in our opinion it was worth it. No pressure sales for the time share, just a brief mention of it when we arrived and then we were left alone. We will be back.

Great stay at Hacienda Elcantada
We enjoyed our stay as first time visitors to Cabo. The resort property is beautiful. The rooms were very clean but need an update. The variety of restaurants at the resort as an all inclusive was ample. A plus was three additional restaurants down at the marina were also available to us. We loved Jack’s at the marina! Overall the food was good at each venue and the service was excellent except for one night at Barolo on the property where our server was overwhelmed with several large parties. The property is very hilly so there is golf cart service provided to get around if you need it. If you have real trouble walking—it’s probably not for you. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. Finally, the all inclusive plan was very generous and we felt it was an excellent value.

The property is very beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food/Restaurants were plentiful, views were spectacular, room was comfortable, shuttle to sister property in town was convenient. Here are a few things to be aware of: while the property is oceanfront it is not beach front. You can walk down to touch the ocean, but it is rocky/not swimmable. You can gain beach access via the sister property at a public beach a 10 minute walk from that hotel. The property is built into the side of a hill, so there’s a lot of elevation changes throughout and you get to walk a lot to get from place to place. We didn’t mind that, but if walking isn’t your thing there’s a shuttle you can call for. If you have the all inclusive plan you will still get a bill at the end of each meal presumably so you may leave a tip. While I’ve not encountered this before at an all inclusive, that was ok. What wasn’t ok was the super long summary of all these dozens of tip charges at check out. There were some daily charges which when we questioned them turned out to be optional, but you had to notice them & bring it up to be deleted. I also noticed 2 restaurant charges which they could not show backup documentation so they were deleted. All in all, I’d recommend a stay here.
