My Place is not the place
Biggest issue: housekeeping is on a 4-day rotation with no other option. We stayed a week and had only one cleaning (this includes emptying trash).
Ran out of shampoo near the end of our stay because housekeeping couldn't be bothered to refill it on the one day they come. But don't worry, there are signs all over the room about how you can tip them for the below average service.
Hair dryer stopped working and we had to have maintenance come up and fix it.
The shower diverter only worked about 80%.
The afternoon/evening guy working the front desk spent most of the time camped out at a table in the lobby on his phone. Didn't seem to be paying much attention to who was coming or going.
Not sure why, but this hotel was very popular with contractors. There were many staying at the hotel so the parking lot was full over oversized pickups with questionable parking skills.
Overall there were a lot of negatives and very little positives to this hotel. If you need to crash for one night I'm sure it's fine (free coffee in the lobby) but I wouldn't stay here again. There are plenty of better options in St George.
