4/10 Fair

Tired and lacking investment. Go elsewhere
Resort is very tired and aged and unfortunately it relflects in the staff also who seem demotivated and tired. Part of the beach is lovely, but the rest is covered in rubbish that has washed up. The rooms are very small and basic, but sufficient for sleeping. The food is limited and poorly executed (although the Kakonda was good). The drinks are also low quality. Unfortunately the place needs investment but doesnt seem to be getting it.
They also charge for a boat transfer from South Sea Island if you're on South Sea Cruises transfer from another resort, claiming there is no direct stop, but this is false as we got dropped at the resort and picked up off the big boat (standard drop off for most resorts). I've queried this unnecessary charge and heard nothing back, which is another example of their service. The pool was closed when we arrived, ladders left out, nails lying on the pool deck....
They also get day trip visits and we had a group arrive during our stay who took and held all the snorkeling gear for most of the day and the day beds around the pool, you get no priority as a paying guest. Bring your own snorkels!
Definitely a lot of nicer places in Fiji where you'll get a proper Fijian experience and hospitality for similar (or less) money.
Hopefully they can get investment and support soon....
