This is the worst property I have ever encountered. It has a musty odor, mould growing on the curtains and fixtures, and the staff are unprofessional. I strongly advise people to avoid this propertyâ the living conditions are completely unsafe
Staying in Munnar is expensive, even for 2 nights. I decided to stay in a hotel which is approx 10km from the city. This did mean I needed to be transported everywhere if not exploring the immediate area.
I wanted to see Munnar and all it had to offer in 2 nights.
Fortunately I did find a tour which would cover this and provided a collection and drop service.
Though, due to the distance you must acknowledge it'll be approx 500 INR each way. If you book a taxi its usually for set distance and could be 4000 INR per 100km.
Something to bear in mind.
The hotel is well maintained on the outside, nice plant life around. Has a drive and space for multiple cars.
The breakfast is very good and varied.
They provide purified filtered water!
I would recommend walking down the road for restaurants than get in vehicle; particularly Underground restaurant/bar, fantastic treetop view.
Oh and pack a waterproof!
Bijil and staff were helpful when needed. He assisted me in securing the tour.
Thanks!
Staff members were the friendilist lot and went out of their way to be helpful. Beyond that the property was dismal, wi-fi spotty at best and room including washroom not well maintained. Wish I could have given a better recommentation - sorry, as that is the unvarnished truth.
Very clean and comfortable rooms. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Mr. Jobi Sebastian went out of his way to be kind and helpful and made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Fully recommend this guest house in Munnar.
