Let’s start that we left the room, ate the cost and booked at a hotel down the street. The original room was sold off to someone else (we were told there were technical difficulties), told we were getting a king suite (it wasn’t a king but a queen and a couch), the pool was cold and unattended to, the snack counter and cold drink fridge was left scantily stocked. There were other issues as well that I will not mention due to sensitivity of subject matter. Ultimately, this was a huge disgrace to the Hilton brand! If I were a representative, I would definitely investigate this location for quality and adherence to franchise standards.
In the future, I will call the location directly (unfortunately I cannot depend on IDC’s to deliver good information in the reviews) to ask for specifics. Hilton is a good brand overall and we will always book with them, but I would definitely be leery of this particular location.
