The rooms and public areas are excellent, well equipped and very clean. My only issues are we had to eat our breakfast with other guests dogs barking at each, and a small child crawling around everywhere. There’s a time and place for all this and it’s not when hotel guests are trying to eat a meal.

A lovely stay in the Staybridge suite . Slept well ,very well equipped suite , Issues we found were no hot water in bathroom sink shower and kitchen sink were ok ,the window was a pain as the seals were burst couldn’t see out ! also at breakfast in the hub was a bit manic only 1staff member trying to do all jobs so was not replenished at a busy time so the offering was not adequate !!

Only stayed at this hotel for one night, within 5 minutes I knew I would be right back here again one day, the suite was wonderful, great location views weren’t bad and the room was very snug the minute you walked in.

Room 306 was fine, clean & well appointed. No view other than dilapidated building next door. No hotels fault but grim outlook. I wasn’t aware dog friendly either & saw dogs lying on seating in lounge area & jumping up onto chairs in dining room area. No problem with dogs in rooms but seriously shaking themselves jumping up barking & snarling at other dogs deary me & all I wanted was quiet breakfast. Unfortunately my wife is allergic to dogs & people persist in allowing their pets to jump up on people. Why stop at dogs, surely just bring cats in or any other animal. The staff were pleasant & very busy. We also weren’t made aware the restaurant was closed although we’d booked online. I won’t stay at Staybridge again simply due to dog policy. Make a separate seating area for people with dogs. Its not hard.
