Room was basic but good for the price with a comfortable bed and nice shower.
There was a noisy compressor or such like that ran for a couple of minutes frequently through the night. Luckily I got enough sleep.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the last nine months, and it is excellent. The staff, rooms and especially the food they serve is excellent. Make sure you are hungry as the portions are large. I would recommend Mullions 51 to anytime, to stay or have a meal. I hope to stay there again in October.
Everything was absolutely outstanding and so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. We definitely recommend and shall be returning without a doubt.
Room 17. Lots of banging from either cellar door or bar area toilet doors from downstairs. Very disappointed. Also, one curtain is not wide enough to close across one window. We had to use a throw from the bed to block out the light.
Super rooms, that look newly refurbished; with tea/coffee/milk pods and toiletries. Ample parking and friendly staff. Breakfast is really well cooked to order (cheffy rather than congealing buffet). The pub downstairs is quiet and very old.with some seating outside in the carpark. ..Could do with a thorough clean , new carpet and a lick of paint. My heart fell when i first arrived, but the rooms and breakfast were perfect. Hotel is a short walk from the bus stop, so didnt have to drive after i arrived. Very good value.
The room was basic and the mattress was hard and the room smelled of old Dogs, very helpful and friendly staff, a Lovely breakfast shame about the room
Very pleasant place. Good parking, clean, tidy. Simple but thatâs a good thing.
Slow on the check in with emphasis on serving punters at the bar rather than giving me my keys, but otherwise, very good. Would return.
We have stopped here a few times and never disappoints, breakfast is always excellent. The room was spacious but above the beer garden but after closing time it soon becomes quiet.
The room was adequate and bathroom was fine. The beds were a bit basic and there wasnât a chair in the room. The breakfast was okay although there was no fresh fruit to add to your cereal. The staff were faultless and very friendly.
We arrived a little before 8 pm after a long journey. Very friendly young staff at check on and another who saw us bringing in cases for upstairs room and immediately offered to help. (Historic property has steep stairs.) Quirky room with en suite cleverly included ( though up another three steps.) We were delighted that food was still being served in the restaurant - excellent Iberian menu prepared by a Portuguese chef. Very generous portions. We had tapas to start with, but then couldn't finish our mains - offer immediatelyade to have them boxed up - we look forward to eating them later on our travels.
I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who values character rather than a blandly predictable hotel. And excellent value - less than half the price of a Travelodge in London.
Comfortable , springy bed. Room overlooks main street of Street, and historic windows not double- glazed, but not excessively noisy overnight. I slept well, ( though I always carry ear plugs with me)
