The manager was out in the lobby, greeting people as they came in. He also had great interactions with his cleaning staff. We had a problem with the coffee maker in our room and MJ was excellent in helping us.

The hotel was very clean and has a great location. The walkway to the beach was very convenient. We loved the restaurant that is a part of the hotel. The wait staff was wonderful and accomodating. We especially appreciate one of our waiters named Nelson. However, we paid a decent amount of money for the room and had an awful view. In fact, our view was of the roof through a small, dirty window. Online it says the windows stretch floor to ceiling. This was definitely not the case. See attached picture.

Check in was friendly, room wasn’t quite ready but full access to the hotel/pool/beach was granted. Hotel allowed us to check bags while we waited. Friendly door/luggage staff made us feel welcome. Pool water was nice temperature, could have been a little bit cleaner around the pool edges but windy conditions blew napkins and garbage in the water. With windy conditions no umbrellas allowed to be opened. Free sunscreen and water, pool staff and security could have been a bit friendlier but nice. Ideal location for sun and good bar with food and poolside service was quick and not too expensive compared to other places Nice walkway over to beach. Elevator only works certain hours of day. Beach staff were not very welcoming or helpful in finding two chairs together when this is advertised as a service. They were very particular on what chairs you’re allowed to use, and put up a fuss when we tried to move an empty chair only 15 feet away from a rowdy group and wouldn’t let us get a new chair from the stacks of unused chairs. Instead he was going to kick out an elderly couple that had left their chairs vacant for 10 minutes to walk along beach! So watch out if you leave your chair empty and don’t expect much help there Good location and close to restaurants, coffee, cvs. Room was nice, except doors slamming in hallway and squeaky elevator doors. You’ll want to be far away from elevator! Thick walls so we could hear a room party a bit beside us but managed to sleep.

The check- in staff was wonderful . We were only staying the night but they provided a voucher for a cocktail and dessert at Lona - the restaurant attached . Very upbeat and welcoming !

Elevator that leads to a skywalk crosses over the busy traffic to the beach, was out of order. The paint job on exterior skywalk starting to fade from sun. Coffee bar in good spot. Availability of fresh water in lobby and other various locations a good idea. It was a pretty good spot. Beach personnel friendly, helpful and paying attention to clients.

Incredible room, nice view , comfortable bed. Hotel staff were friendly. Valet wasn’t rude but very professional. The hotel restaurant has really good food. The reserved beachfront area is exactly what you want! The bikes were fun to ride.

Typical Westin- huge, average rooms,bathroom on the small side.Good location within walking distance to multiple restaurants . Nice beach with chairs available for guests. Biggest disappointment was that the pool was freezing and there was loud construction next to it, which made it impossible swim or relax at the pool, which was what we wanted to do . Great massage at the spa but whirlpool there was also on the cold side. Overall, a disappointing stay .

Will never stay here again, they have weird guys walk around the outside of the building looking up into peoples balconies, when I asked it was “security patrolling”…very odd way of patrolling. Toilet seat was broken in room, tv was broken in room as well. They say you’re guaranteed two beach chairs and you’re just not. You have to fight for them and even if you get one it will have holes in it or be half broken. Next time I will save my money, and stay somewhere better.
