Slightly Disappointed
We called ahead of time for early check-in and were told “no problem”, when we arrived at 2pm we were told our room wasn’t ready despite our earlier confirmation. We proceeded to sit in the lobby (on the stained, lumpy couch) for an HOUR to wait for our room. We finally got in shortly after 3pm. Our room was great, it was clean and spacious - it suited our family of 5 perfectly! There was only 1 working elevator, we waited several times longer than 10 minutes and even took the stairs a few times. BUT not all of the stairwell doors were unlocked so we waited and knocked to be let in. Breakfast was a nightmare, not enough seating (we stood with full plates in our hands 2 of 3 mornings) and no pancakes or waffles, Always eggs and sausage. Coffee and hot was ran out several times. Pool towels were well stocked and the pool area was always clean. We expected our room to be serviced at least once as we were informed it was every other day but it never happened and we stayed 3 nights.

Not too bad
Overall it was ok. There were a few things I’d note, make sure to try to leave earlier than you anticipate because due to only one elevator it took us a family of 6 two rooms over 30 minutes to catch an elevator due to there being no space. Also, throughout the day we kept hearing pipe noises or some loud noise of some sort at all hours. The staff was very pleasant but they were definitely short staffed towards the evening and the pool was not kept and we had to call for towels which thankfully someone did bring them before the pool closed. Breakfast was decent for being free but there is NO room to eat in the quarters where it is served. If you plan on eating in Your room you will wait 10 -30 minutes to get back on the elevators as well. Thankfully they helped at one point letting security give rides on the service elevator. Thankfully staff was good and helped when they were able to.

2/10 Poor

Was provided a handicap room which was inconvenient for someone who isn’t handicap. Water in shower had no pressure and would completely turn off at some point during my shower. Water was cold didn’t get hot enough. Only had 1 elevator for 30 floors causing us to have to wait up to 30mins to get on an elevator.

Decent
Decent location, room was clean but even though we reserved the corner suite, I didn't believe we were given the 600 ft² one. Breakfast was adequate and frequently restocked up until closing hour. Friendly staff, but busy. The hotel was fully booked so the small lobby was always packed. The lobby/front desk services 2 Hilton Brand hotels under one room sharing breakfast, the tiny pool and hot tub and gym. Elevators are separate. Our side, Homewood suites, operated on 1 elevator the entire weekend with the hotel being completely book. In addition, you can't use the stairs as they don't open onto the floors except at the 1st and 8th floor. I was trapped in the stairwell until finally I could get an elevator to the 19th floor. The elevator/stairwell situation is horrible. They offer valet parking, $70, but public parking right beside the hotel with in and out privileges was $36 for 24 hour period.

8/10 Very good

Front desk manager was friendly, knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The room was clean, however the bathroom amenities were not properly supplied for the duration of our stay. Housekeeping was prompt with requests. The biggest inconvenience was there was only one working elevator which generated long waits throughout the day.

Great location, reasonably priced and updated. Could not hear neighbors. Only downside is 1 of the 2 elevators to get to our room was not working. Stairs were exit only. This made for additional wait time. We were told it had been out for awhile, hope they have a plan if the other one stops working.

Stay was fine. Hotel was very budy and only one elevator was working so it just took a little longer to move around the hotel. Also, our chair leg broke as soon as someone sat in it, engineering took it to fix but we never received another chair for the weekend. We were there for a Bears game so it was a perfect walk to the stadium, about a mile.

Okay stay, can improve
Room was NOT ready at 4. Shortly before 6 is when I was able to finally get my room keys. Get ready to wait 10 minutes to just use the elevator if its busy.

2/10 Poor

Horrible experience
I wanted to cancel my reservation as soon as I entered the lobby. Not sure why this hotel has good reviews. The small lobby was super crowded, dirty, with kids running without shoes and the staff wasn't nice. Not well maintained, and it felt sketchy. The room was dirty (full of dust) and not well maintained. Lousy A/C. Poor breakfast. Pool was filthy. We won't stay here again, worst experience! Many better options in Chicago.

Best Place w/the BEST staff!
Best place we stayed at and will definitely recommend to others - we were close enough to everything to walk and explore. The staff were amazing especially Valet and Shyvonne at the desk. If we ever come back, we know where we’ll be staying again! Thank you guys for the great hospitality. We are happy to be going home but sad to leave the amazing staff we met.

Great maintenance worker saves the trip!
It would have been nice to know that the hotel actually had two hotels in the same building. No one told us we would have to use a certain elevator so of course we got all our luggage into an elevator after a super long wait only to find out it couldnt go to our floor and our elevators were on the other side of the building. Overall super frustrating to get checked in and get to the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The free hot breakfast was not great, limited option for those that dont eat pork and overly crowded. Also the elevators were not working for most of the trip. If it wasnt for the amazing maintenance worker that would come check and see if anyone needed a ride on his elevator, it would have been impossible. He was the best part of the trip!! He needs a raise. The hotel was in a good location however as it was just a short walk to the Roosevelt station to ride the CTA.

Highly recommend! Very nice, friendly and clean!
Loved it! We were in town for 2 days for the Lions game. I used the Park Whiz app to get a parking space super close. Check-in was quick and easy. It was a short / easy walk to Solider Field as well. The room was very nice with a great view. We had a small kitchen and everything worked perfectly. I slept on the pull out couch and it was quite comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs. It was really good and affordable! The pool / hot tub was very clean and nice as well. Highly recommend!
