Decent Hampton Inn
The service at check in was great and the staff I talked to were awesome. Bed was nice, comfortable and the shower hot water was on point. There were flying stink bugs in the room when I arrived and removed them. Your stairwell #3 exit door doesn't close properly leaving it ajar and accessible. Then the heater Ptac unit was weak and left the room cold. Great for sleeping but not when trying to get out of bed. Overall I would stay again and enjoyed the experience.

Nice older hotel
Check in went smoothly, but no explanation about breakfast, wifi, location or hours of the pool. The hotel is older and needs updating. The upholstered chair in the room is so worn that the armrests are threadbare. It should be thrown out. Everything else was fresh and clean though. Breakfast was hot and a good selection. Tables were clean and food was filled as needed.

The staff was nice and breakfast this morning before we checked out was decent. But over all our stay SUCKED. Our room stunk so bad, just a sour dirty smell. Big stains on the carpet. I always book a hotel with an indoor pool. The pool area was not so clean, and the water in the pool was so cold, ya might as well took an ice bath.

Reserve at your own risk
The walls were thin. Able to hear what others are doing. Fire alarm went off and when going downstairs the handrail came out of the wall. Luckily i did not fall down the stairs. Breakfast was fine. Did not know that i would be charged an extra$25 per room when i checked in. I was refunded the amount after checkout. Wish that was disclosed before i made reservations. Expected more from the hampton.

This location is a perfect halfway point for our trip to see our oldest in the Philly area. After looking at hotels in the area, Hampton Inn Columbus East looked like the best price with solid reviews. We were not disappointed! Our room was clean and comfortable. We could walk to multiple restaurants and the breakfast was good and well attended to. Before we left the hotel on our way out, we booked a night for our return trip. The experience was a great one again. We will definitely be back again.
