Reserved a room a month prior to my visit to Tulsa- didn’t realize I booked a crime scene. The room had a view of a fire that consumed part of the hotel, a prideful event they keep on display. The amenities include a wet mold smell overtaking the burnt acrid decay of carpet.
Upon walking in, we were promptly greeted by three cockroaches, two which were smashed into the carpet and countertops, a blatant assurance cleanliness is a priority for visitors to ABV Extended Stay Tulsa. The other roach was running up the wall to the countertop, in a rush to welcome us to Tulsa. The cigarette burns in the furniture were quite lovely, along with the microwave that was obviously found in the city dump & installed into this luxury hotel. The black dots atop the bed indicated several more bugs were ready to welcome us. A health hazard in every room is to be commended!
My stay lasted 10 minutes, 5 which were telling the lady at the desk we wanted a refund and she said no problem- giving vibes that this is a common request. It takes a special kind of audacity to rent a crime scene to visitors of your city & business. I’ve yet to receive my refund so am looking forward to sending my videos and photos of this place to the proper authorities along to city inspectors. I’m sure they’ll find this review, and others, quite informational and an example of neglectful and abhorrent safety standards. The air quality should be sampled and studied in a lab, a fine specimen for breakthrough research.
