Average hotel that is overpriced

We wouldn’t stay here again. It’s an older hotel and our room smelled a bit like cigarettes. The elevators take forever and we didn’t find the staff very helpful. We were driving a truck and actually couldn’t park in the hotel underground parking lot and had to go in search of street parking. Overall felt this was overpriced for what you get.

Room was ready at 2pm when we arrived. Got upgraded to top floor with huge balcony, bottle of wine and late checkout at 12pm. Everything was great. Went to Original Joe's restaurant bottom floor also. Very convenient.

Everything was great but the bed!

The door to the patio was broken so I am not sure if we were not supposed to be out there but that was a let down. The room was large and spacious, there was a nice big mirror for getting ready. However the bed was very uncomfortable, I had neck pain for 4 days afterwards and I'm under 30! The service at the front door was amazing, they opened the door for us every time and the location is great right downtown close to everything.

The location is really nice and the people who were there are very friendly. I really liked the layout of the room and they have everything you need in the kitchen, including dishwashing soap and sponge, although I wish they provided some paper towels. They also had Keurig coffee which was convenient. The only negative is that it's super dated. The couches sunk in so much it was very uncomfortable to sit on them and the carpet felt not so fresh. The bed was a bit too soft, but the pillows were nice. The TVs were very old and didn't have many channel options

Like Rosedale on Robson, nice and clean but heating wasn’t working properly and maintenance came up and tested it and it worked for a short time then it stopped working again. It seemed to stop working thru the night. Even putting an extra blanket on the bed didn’t help. Won’t stop us from going back
