Perfect location for our needs.
Hotel was fine, location was the important part. Front desk person was somewhat pleasant. I recommend cleaning the bathroom better. There were marks on the wall and door frame that resembled blood. The shower needed cleaned too or updated if cleaning doesn’t work.

Big chill
While a really nice property, when we arrived ( in 10 degree weather) , there was no heat in the lobby , or restaurant.No one told us this, and thankfully our rooms warm but we planned to dine there due to how cold it was outdoors. We had to bundle up to last in the restaurant long enough to eat. The poor bartender was alone, handling the bar and tables. She even had to run rake out food to rooms as room service! It was painful to watch and experience. The food was average- there was no manager on duty to lend a hand, and no compensation offered for the lack of heat while dining.

Historic Building on a walkable quiet downtown str
The Westin was recently rennovated. It is the perfect place to take a photo opp with the family due to the architecture and decor of the building. The lounge decor is trendy and modernizes the hotel.The rooms are spacious. The only feedback is with renovation comes some kinks and the Westin's kind staff is appreciative of direct feedback to iron those out. Consider this hotel, for game day, to stay away from the fray and be able to walk to a few picturesque restaurants.

We were in town for the weekend for the Ohio State game. With taxes, fees, etc, the room was a little over $200/night. It was an old historic hotel, so I did not expect it to be super modern. However, the room was incredibly small. I would guess about 10’ by 20’. The view was of a wall with half the windows covered up. The drawers in the dresser would not open because the sliding closet door blocked them. There was a small 1-cup coffee maker in the room but no cups. The bathroom was super small. Definitely only room for 1 person to get ready at a time. The walls are very thin. We could hear everyone going up and down the hallways. The acoustics in the entry area/reception are not great. If there is anything goin on up on the second floor, the sound will blast you out of the room. There was some big event up there Saturday night, and it was so loud that we left the bar area and went back to the room to watch the late games. The front desk people were very nice and professional. Overall, just too expensive for the product that you get. They could fix some of the small details and it would help.

elevators?
On my 3 night stay there were no running elevators 2 different nights and 1 morning. It seemed random and there was the people at the front desk just let clients stand there wondering what was going on until they gave up and walked over and asked. I had to find the stairs on my own.
