Beautiful Views
We spent 3 nights at Bayside Inn. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable! We had a great view from our room, but the Juliet balcony was really not a balcony and you could not stand on it (maybe I just didn't understand what that was!) The pool was a little small but heated and refreshing. Complimentary coffee was provided in the lobby. There was a fitness center and an elevator available. Plenty of chairs along the beach area, and some nice shaded spots. Free kayaks and paddle boards. Snooks Restaurant was just a step through the trees, and they have nightly live music which can be heard from the beach area. CVS, Walgreens, and Burger King also available to walk to. It was also pet-friendly. I would recommend this resort.

Wasn't easy but made it work
I reserved a handicapped room. At check in i was told it was not available she didn't know why I was able to book it on line. She put us in a ground floor room with two steps. Could not park near ramp. No grab bars in shower,had to use desk chair. Thankfully my husband was able to get up and down the stairs and I put the walker at the top/bottom for him. It wasn't easy but we made it work.enjoyed ourselves anyway.

Stopped for a few nights … Staff very friendly & helpful! Rooms were average. They could use an upgrade … toilets slow, fridge fighting to stay cold made the room very damp … throw carpet needs replaced … desk ready to collapse … Floors could be mopped … however, overall, for the price it did the job and the beach area was terrific … beautiful view, nice chairs, music from bar nextdoor was soothing … kayaks & pool … people swimming and fishing … tiki bars floating out from next door also & that’s what we came for-the outdoors … worth the trip … glad we went

Won’t be back
Checked into the first room. First level room. The smell of mold was unbearable. Asked to be moved to another room. We were moved to another first level room, the only other room available. Still smelled a bit moldy but maybe 15-20% of the way the other room smelled. Seems like they may have had a flood there and the flood was not properly mitigated. Had issues with the entry lock. Maintenance had to come out and work on it twice since the first attempt did not resolve the issue even thought he said it did. When we returned after a night out the front desk was closed and there was no parking. Had to park in an unauthorized spot in a nice new convertible. Would say this is closer to a motel 8 than an upscale Inn. Staff was friendly. Views of a propane container from the window.
