No clock in the room, side chair was torn in several places, plaster was cracked or peeling throughout the room, dirty carpet, kept slippers on the whole time for fear of dirty carpet. It appeared ddthat one of the towels had been used. The motel is very old, part of the rooms looked to be used as apartments with tenants sitting outside smoking, some in their underwear. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The customer service we received checking in was phenomenal! Our key was not working and the young lady had promptly switched us rooms. The huge down side is the price does reflect conditions. My husband had pulled a towel from the rack and not to our surprise a heroine straw fell out from behind it. The pool area is also littered with drug paraphernalia. Upon our final night we actually had to call the police because we were threatened by a bystander stating he had a gun. The on-site security was also no help in this situation. As a native of the valley/ general Phoenix area I would greatly encourage you to stay elsewhere.
The bedsheets and towels weren't clean. All the surfaces at the room were dirty and all drawers. The bathroom was very clean though. The wfii kept on disconnecting. There were a lot of noises till past midnight.
They do NOT clean your room until you check out. The rooms are disgusting, see photos. The âownerâ is rude... a raging jerk actually. He only gives you two towels at a time. They hand out brown bags for breakfast, understandably, but they only give you two per room even if youâve booked for four people. We saw one of the fellow occupants screaming about having his belongings stolen from his room while he wasnât there. There was a gunshot on our second night. We found something white on our bedspread which I can only pray was food. Even with COVID regulations none of the frequently touched objects in our room had been cleaned, this was painfully obvious. I NEVER even saw anyone cleaning anything. I know this because my plan was to wait for housekeeping and grab more shampoo off the cart since they refused to give us more than the one tony bottle, but never saw a house keeper with a cleaning cart the entire time we were there. Which was five days. Ended up just showering at my sisters since we also didnât have towels. This place is just so unclean itâs shocking. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. You canât unsee the things youâll see here. Also the non-smoking rooms reek of cigarette/marijuana smoke. And the air coolers donât work.
Hair all over in bathtub, graffiti on fridge in room, druggies all over hanging around the top tier, no towels in pool area, no drinks with continental breakfast, dirty pillow covers, needs remodeling. I will never stay here again
The non-smoking room we got reeked of smoke. There was a pile of trash and ashes behind the door. Burn marks on the carpet and blankets were a nice touch. Through out the night there lots is people in the parking lot yelling and partying. People banging on the door a few times in the night as a nice touch. Normally I wouldnât think $70 is too much to pay for a hotel room but Super 8 proved me wrong this time. The only bright spot at this place is the guys in the office were both very nice.
