The desk staff was very friendly. There was a mix up and he thought they gave my room away. They did not and he was very apologetic for the delay. The hotel smelled like smoke. The room left a lot to be desired. Nearly impossible to get the temp to be desirable, you were either sweating or freezing. They had issues w/their water temp so it took about 10 minutes to get the shower to heat up. While the shower looked newer the sprayer was leaking which caused mold at the top. Toilet was split and glued together.
My experience was not good. The Elevator was broken so my family and I had to walk to the third floor. There was no lighting in the hallway so lamps were placed in the hallway were you could barely see. No breakfast was provided and the night attendant had no extra linens or towels.
This place was disgusting. Smelled like smoke and pot inside. Dirty room. Sheets had spots on them. Homeless living in cars in parking lot. Just a gross place.
Just like everyone else in Anderson we lost power, to be expected all hotels were booked and we were lucky enough to get the last available room they had. And it had a king size bed. Yes we had to walk to the 3rd floor, but it was really no inconvenience. The staff worked with us when we first got there, the room was ready upon arrival, the room was very clean and did not smell at all. The shower was perfect, the air conditioner was very cold(thatâs a good thing). And although we were on Clemson blvd, it was very quiet there. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Only small issue but not really one because it was understandable, there was no internet or tv. But hey we just had a major storm. At least we had a comfortable bed, air and a hot shower. So thank you to the staff at Super 8 for giving us a place to stay for a few days.
We stayed here for a weekend parent trip to see our daughter at Clemson University. It was about 30 minutes from campus, however, it was most reasonably priced hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We did request a quiet room on top floor fuurthest away from the road and they accommodated us for that. It was close to breakfast places and restaurants- and close to Walmart where we could get groceries to stock our students pantry. Thank you
I was very disappointed in the quality of this hotel for the price paid. First of all, the rates doubled from its regular rates simply because there was a college football game nearby. Secondly, there was no elevator and we were put on the highest floor. There were fans in the hallways because the air conditioning didn't work. The only ice maker was on the bottom floor and the bathroom toilet was loose and "clunked" every time you used it. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, but the property itself was definitely not worth the price paid.
The building was hot and the staff seemed more concerned with saving money than making the guests comfortable. When I arrived on my floor they didnât even have any lights on in the hallway it was pitch black.
