It’s my fifth time in Bali and first time at Melia and that is my favourite by far! The hotel is beautiful, the gardens and the rooms are also very comfortable. The Spanish Restaurant, Sorrento, was specially good! All the choices of restaurants and bars, the friendly staff made our stay super!

Wow, wow, wow!! What an amazing resort. Everything about this resort is fantastic- from the service to the facilities and amenities to the choice of food and drinks. We loved everything about the Meliá. The choice and quality of food across the various restaurants is incredible. The staff cannot do enough for you and are always smiling. The position of the resort is perfect, right on the beach and near Bali collection. Would highly recommend the resort, and the all inclusive option is well worth it. Can’t wait to return!!

Breakfast was a free for all as only outside seating was workable as in side Aircon was set to freezing, hence so was the food , impossible to get a booking at restaurant unless you book 2-3 days in advance, food pricing is more expensive then back in Australia, quality is ordinary, main pool was overcrowded

I loved the tranquility and the friendliness of the staff, the facilities but I feel like a small shop that sold large bottles of water or snacks would have been good. We didn’t dine at the restaurants much as I didn’t enjoy the food choices I would have liked the traditional nasi goreng or mi goring on the munu, the cocktails were made with flavoured syrup and brown sugar in the mojito was not nice. It is very expensive to stay at the Melia and I feel like better food options and a happy hour would have made the stay more pleasant

Once for dinner, I asked for tea, the waiter looked at me and said he didn't had any...it was disappointing since early that day I was at the spa and have some lovely teas. there are 2,3 more examples with weird answers while others were giving exceptional customer service...

We would Come Back

Had a lovely stay at Melia. Upgraded to the Level family which I think is essential to fully enjoy the experience. Otherwise there are large sections of the resort that you do not have access to. The floor of my room - 3321 - was very dirty. My feet were black if I walked around without shoes on so this needs improvement. We booked a day tour to Nusa Penida through Melia but feel that we did not receive any information that we would not be leaving from the main marina; but rather with a smaller private operator. As a result the trip over was longer and very bumpy which made us nervous. We were also not prepared for the crowds, congested roads and poor sanitary conditions of the toilets on the island, so the tour desk needs to properly prepare guests with more information. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are so lovely, and apart from the cleaning issue mentioned, do an amazing job.
