The room was clean and had a number of amenities, to include a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was extremely friendly and treated our pup just like a guest. There was a nice path to walk our pup on and the front desk provided extra poop bags as needed. The breakfast crew kept the breakfast bar stocked, even during peak times. We appreciated our stay here, enjoyed the location as it felt safe and was easy to access a number of places we wanted to go. We would return!
The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Only complaint was that there was no bath mat or grip tape in the shower. This was evident when I slipped and fell while taking a bath! Other wise I really enjoyed my stay here.
Lock was stuck on the first room they assigned me a 10:00pm. Was moved to a different room which ended up having no privacy/darkness curtains, so lights shined in all night. On top of that two contractors walked into the room unannounced in the morning to fix the direction on the cold/hot shower knob which was backwards and started with piping hot water and then to cold. Good thing I was dressed and ready to leave. Hotel staff were accomodating but far too many inconveniences.
The stay was all right, the room could have been cleaner. In the corner of the shower, there was a small black, fuzzy spot that looked a lot like mold. I took a a picture and showed the front desk, who came up and removed it and apologized, but other than that the shower was clean, so I am not sure how housekeeping could have missed it. The hotel looks like it could use a renovation.
Nice grounds and lobby. Elevators a little worn. Junior queen suite was spacious with a small kitchenette including dishes. A few rough spots like bottom of some doors but overall nice. Nice towels. AC worked well but TOO loud. Also showing its age with no electrical plugs available by the nightstand and no built in USB ports in the lamps or other location. Would still recommend it as a good place to stay especially if you're looking for an extended stay.
The hotel was very nice i love the area and the breakf5was great me and my husband stayed there for his birthday sept 10, 2016. Very quite and cozy and the staff was great and i was very impressed with free tickets to the movie overall it was great. I would stay there again
This is the second time I've stayed. Smaller room this time but just as comfortable. The breakfast buffet (included) is always wonderful and staff helpful. Close to Rte. 59 helped me access my room and my business appointments easily.
Stayed here in a suite while visiting my HS son who is attending Illinois Math & Science academy. Close to the school and restaurants and shoppers. I'll be coming up to visit for the next 3 years and I'll stay here again.
I have stayed at Staybridge twice. Once at Christmas with my late husband who was in the final stages of an untreatable cancer. It worked well for me to help him get up , dressed, etc. He had lost 70# and found the bed to be comfortable even though he was so sensitive after having lost so much weight that you couldn't touch him without him moaning in pain.
This trip I was there to be able to inter his ashes in Indiana and we lived in Massachusetts. I also had to leave on a 5:30AM flight and the staff found me a lime service who was prompt and got me to the airport in a timely manner.
Also, they have the best breakfast bar I have ever seen. You would be hard pressed to NOT find severasl options you would enjoy. They also make fresh everyday some specialties.
Check in was fast and easy great hotel good location the air conditioning was very cold in room 232 it blasts you on the bed so turn it down before bed that's what we did the only thing I thought was a problem was the drapes don't close all the way it just has a thin drape so it's sunny if you wanna nap in the day time or sleep in but other then that great place
