On a positive note, I was upgraded to an ocean front room. The deadbolt did not work. When reported, they said they would have someone fix it right away. I checked out and it still was not functioning. All inclusive resort did not have service. All eating and drinking was self serve. The restaurants could only be booked through the app. Restaurants were closed or unavailable. After discussing this with the management staff there was no resolution. So, be prepared to consume all your meals at the buffet…when they’re open.

Great view from almost anywhere on resort!
There were a number of activities on the resort for all types of interests. We enjoyed our catamaran ride to Dunns River. The food was average, but typical for an AI (unless you're willing to pay for Couples or Sandals, which has a better dining experience). Room was nice, we received a free upgrade (even though we didn't get to check in until almost 6:00), thank you for that. Staff was very attentive, especially since we tipped them. We would stay here again.

I was so disappointed by my stay at this resort. I expected so much more feom here. The property is beautiful and the staff are okay but there is definitely room for improvement. The food wasnt the best at all. I was hungry for the majority of my stay because i could hardly find anything that tasted great. There's no room service here, which was pretty shocking to me as well.

My husband is paralyzed in a wheelchair and his tire exploded in the aircraft upon arrival and as soon as I arrived at 2:30am, a employee Kemar literally took the busted front tire to his mechanic and fixed it for us and even had it ready for us by the time we woke up,he went above and beyond.Thank you to saniki who went out of her way to provide cranberry juice to my husband when he got sick And she worked so hard grabbing my beers for me as I have MS and it is hard for me to walk.We felt so bad because my husband leaves wheelchair tracks Everywhere And they kept the floors immaculate.Bathrooms are very clean.Large smoking area with comfortable seating.My only Advice would be to get mattress toppers as the bed in my room was very uncomfortable so that is obviously something for the main head office to look into because my back was in such bad shape that our Housekeeper Susan thank you for providing me 4 extra Blankets as this helped a bit to cushion it and kept me warmer.My room was 1307.Balcony was massive it was an oceanview(C)room.My friend carried a ramp for my husband to get up to two steps of plywood,hopefully the front desk might store it in case another wheelchair person may need it.The walk-in closet is massive,enough hangers!The mini bar guy stalked us up good.Thank you again to everyone at the Riu in ochi for being so good to us. Everyone please tip if you are able it goes a long way! Bless up and live life to the fullest!!
