The only issue I have is it seems when I arrive there's no one at the front desk so that I can check in. I wish the front desk had something to notify them that I or someone else is waiting so I'm not standing there for ten minutes or more. Other than that, I've always enjoyed my stay. Having a balcony is a huge plus and I always enjoy sitting outside watching the traffic. At night though because the heat is brutal.
I had a room with a balcony which I highly recommend. It was super quiet with the exception of the loudest of loud trucks going by. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. I didn't wake up early enough for breakfast, but I'm sure it's like every other Hampton. The area where the hotel is situated is far enough away to avoid a lot of people but close enough to mingle with people if you so choose. This will be my go to spot whenever I'm in town.
Hotels.com did not have a payment on file for me so the hotel canceled my reservation and gave my room away. Neither hotels.com or the hotel called me to confirm payment. When booking my reservation I selected I would pay at the hotel, only to get to the hotel and they tell me because the there was no card on file and my reservation has been canceled and they no longer had a room reserved or available for me. Why would yâall offer me the chance to pay at the hotel and then cancel my reservation. This was very inconveniencing as I had booked the hotel for a girls trip. And still today no one has reached out to me about my reservation being canceled or me not having a card on file.
Property was listed as have a Restaurant and a Bar. It had neither. Housekeeping just changed towels, never took any trash or made the bed. Iron in the room was broken.
Worst bed Iâve ever slept on. We didnât stay the 2nd night because my back hurt so bad. Air conditioning was noisy and never cooled off the room. So dissatisfied.
They stated that Expedia had sent two reservations, and tried to force me to pay for two rooms. I contacted Expedia and I only had one room reserved. The general manager was rude and said that there is nothing she would do. I stated that Iâd despite the charges and wouldnât pay for the extra room and told her she could sue me if she liked. I felt like they were coming fraud against me because I used a third party and it was spring break.
