The most disappointing thing is the pool, hot tub and other amenities were closed for maintenance. I think we should know this when we book. We assume the price we agree to includes the amenities listed. It appears the pool and hot tub have been down for some time.
Breakfast was very basic. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly. The room was basically clean and the beds were somewhat uncomfortable. Blankets are old and need to be replaced.

The pool and hot tub are out of service for the year. Rooms and property are not very clean or well maintained. Reminds me of a roaside motel.
View of Pelican lake was stunning but overall, I had higher expectations of the room and facilities for the price.

Not so perfect for a beautiful location
Place was spoilt by not having the pool gym etc open the pool was green water when looked in ! No food available at the inn no kitchen open ! Not good ! Breakfast was poor ! No outside seating for looking at lake etc. room was good and clean good fridge ! Cannot believe the pool had been in maintenance since I booked a year ago ? Providing no cooked food a big no no ! Or a bar ! Was not given any notice prior very disappointing! Could be perfect if bat and gym and pool and outside seating available

Pool and spa are still out of service and have been for months. This doesn’t matter to me but will be upsetting to some customers.

They advertised a pool, spa, and hot tub. We were disappointed none of it was open or available. The shower in our room had a broken seat and there was plaster on the floor in it. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The garbage was flowing over at the back door. Just not worth what we paid.

The property was quiet and had a dock where you could fish and enjoy the view over Pelican Lake. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. There aren't a lot of food options in the area, so make sure you have a plan for food before you arrive.

It was close to the bear preserve.
The room was not what I paid for. None other available. The carpet was stained. Room had an unpleasant odor. I sprayed the room with disinfectant and sanitized all touchable surfaces. Pool and hot tub closed for maintence. Will never stay there again.

Love Ovesons. The only criticism is the breakfast has gone down hill over the years. That said, the kind staff, cleanliness, and location are wonderful.

Bed was comfortable and shower nice.. my husband said they had big cinnamon rolls for breakfast that was delicious!
