A hidden gem

The art deco theme was lovely. The front desk staff, Adrian was AMAZING! The only thing that was a challenge was it was not handicapped accessible. Not a problem for us, but could be for someone else.

C+ - they were inexpensive. Pictures made it look nicer than it was. Shower only had 1/2 glass with the rest open. The tub was really slippery with no hand rails or grips. The walls were paper thin and we could EASILY hear the guests next door. There was no elevator, only stairs. Electrical was outdated with extension cords next to the bed. The TV was internet only and kept disconnecting making it choppy, so it was hard to watch any shows. Free parking, but lot had only 1 entrance on a one-way street. Free breakfast, which was decent although they ran late on one of the days.

Outside hotel is sketchy vacant lot lots of homeless sleeping on sidewalk. Inside lobby is nice but no elevator have to carry luggage up & down stairs. Worse part was finding hair inside bathroom hand towel...not ours! Disgusting! Have photos but cant add them here. Wonder why?!

Hotel was alright. It had a bit of a musty smell to it and the area wasn't fantastic but isn't the worst because its walkable. My frustration is that the hotel kept my coworker and I's security deposit and I haven't been able to get someone on the phone for two weeks. I am starting to feel like I have been scammed.

Very good hotel, staff are very friendly. Only thing we would say that needed improving was the noise proof as the walls was thin and there are no elevators so having a buggy was a struggle

Our stay was nice the only problem was there was no elevator and our party had 3 handicap had problems walking upstairs ,and no tables to sit down and have breakfast you have to take it back to your room to eat.
