Great Old School Gem
Very clean, well maintained motel. It's old school, which is perfect for Rte 66....it's been a while.since i used an actual key for a hotel room. 👍 Staff was great.

Big Mistake
I booked this room because of the good reviews I read. It was a mistake. It was old, dirty, and very noisy from the hwy right near to it. The bathroom floor was very dirty. I wiped it down with a wet washcloth which turned dark brown. There was no blow dryer in the room either. When I called they said there were no blow dryers. Very disappointing.

Really nice
It is a very nice old motel. Excellent for the price. The rooms have been upgraded and comfortable. I think because of the age it would be cool to paint the outside in retro colors.

This is a very old property but it was clean. Bathroom very small and very old. Towels and bath rug very small and thin.

Just the Facts
This is a retro hotel on old Route 66. It’s basic, clean, reasonably quiet (train runs on other side of the highway), & safe. Good for one or two night stay. Beds are comfortable, comfy pillows, good shower, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, & decent ac. Again, there are NO frills so if you need that stay somewhere else & don’t complain about it. After being cooped up in a car all day, we enjoy a walk. It’s about half a mile to restaurants from the hotel. It’s Well lit, good sidewalk & the staff says safe. We’ve done that a couple times & enjoyed it.

The price was amazingly low so, of course, we were a bit suspect but the rating was okay & it was a convenient location for a quick overnight stay. Turns out, it was excellent. Bare bones but extremely clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, & we could walk to a nice area for restaurants. That was a plus after a long day in the car. All in all, Ramblin’ Rose is just what we were looking for for a convenient, safe , & restful stay with a bit of nostalgia thrown in.

More like the rambling staff than rambling rose…stark, hot and dated… great place to hold up with a cheap ho, some burner phones a bag of clean blow and a bottle of Jack for a few days

The room was clean. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The faucet was a little hard to turn on. Didn't have time to address it with management, but it was Room 216.

Kicks on Route 66
It's nostalgic to get an actual key on the room tag chain. The beds were comfortable after a long drive when all you wanted to do was put on your pajamas and close your eyes after your head hit the pillow. It had an old-world motel feel without breaking the bank. There was no pool, but that's because it was filled in. Pools are expensive to maintain. Close by to Mr. Dz 50's dinner for brunch with an easy hop, skip, and jump to the tourist attraction: old locomotive steam engine for the kiddies, Kingman Az Rte 66 Powerhouse Museum, Rte 66 selfie drive thru.

I liked everything about this property, including the cleanliness of the room and bathroom and especially its proximity to the historical sites regarding Route 66 as well. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful as well. Thanks so much for a reasonably priced, excellent stay.
