Had a lovely stay at Dykefield. Lynda was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was nicely cooked and very tasty.
A good, traditional old fashioned b and b.
Very quiet location which made for a great sleep.
I would recommend this b and b and would stay again.
I liked watching the fields of cows from the window and the lovely swifts flying around just outside the window.
I had a lovely stay. Warm and very welcoming. Linda was a fantastic host. Very accommodating. Shared bathroom was not an issue for me. Other guests were courteous. Breakfast was great. I will definitely be stay here again in the future.
The property was fine. We took a very nice walk along the road. It was very quiet and beautiful.
the host was very kind and attentive to our wants and needs. We hoping she had a double, queen or even a king bed. All she had available was two twins. It worked out though. The only thing we really didnât like was the only en-suite was down stairs.
A working farm in a gorgeous part of the world. The host was super hospitable the room was lovely and clean. The bed was not that comfortable for me but ymmv. The bathroom is shared but not a problem for me.
This farmhouse B&B was a lovely discovery. Quiet and in lovely countryside, it was very convenient for Dumfries House. It is not for those who want a four poster bed. It is a working farm and fine for a stay of a couple of nights.
Definitely excellent hospitality and though I realised it was a downstairs shared bathroom it was hard waiting when desperate for the toilet. If bathroom/shower had been separate from the toilet it would be overall excellent.
Itâs a hotel with a bed. Very quiet at night so no disturbance whilst sleeping. Great host even left me an early breakfast out and âsecureâ parking for my motorcycle. Well undercover which is a lot more than you can say for most other hotels.
