Great location. Not much around the hotel but walking distance to a major stop for metro. Nice room and spacious enough. Our room was right outside the elevator which wasn’t the best, but it was okay. The hotel was nice. A little disappointed with customer service in the end. There was a country wide train strike in the Netherlands and we had to leave a day early, or we would have been stuck in Amsterdam for who knows how long. As tourists, this wasn’t an option. We had to leave a day early and the hotel would not refund us for the night we wouldn’t be there, even though we all know they probably gave the room to someone else (and charging both of us). I understand there was a no refund policy, but the circumstances were so out of our control it would have been nice to have received a bit of compassion and understanding (and from the looks of the hotel, I don’t think they are necessarily hurting for money). Any amount of money back would have been appreciated, but they didn’t care at all.
