Small, simple, clean and cosy room in a lovely old hotel. Would have been difficult to manage if we were bigger people and/or had more luggage, in part because of the diagonal beam across the room (we were on the top floor). Bed was very soft and duvets were on the heavy side, which is good if that's one's preference. Had a room facing the water front and the main road, so the complimentary ear plugs came in handy(!)
Unfortunately we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant because it was already fully booked, however we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the beautiful dining room the next morning.
