"Staff were extremely helpful and polite at all times. The room was very clean and spacious with it being built onto the historical town wall. Spa facilities were also very good. At breakfast the choice was vast and aplenty. We sampled the taster menu with the wine in the AME restaurant which was excellent. "

"Really nice, quirky hotel. I had a room split over two levels (bedroom/sitting room upstairs and bathroom downstairs). Loads of period features and exposed wood, etc. The staff I spoke to were great, and the breakfast was fantastic, free and very plentiful. I'll be back."
