Perfect location.
Friendly and helpful staff. The spa areas looked very beautiful. Room was very clean but warm for my taste. I did turn the heat off, but it was still hot enough that I had to open the window. The bathroom sink automatic on and off water feed took a little getting used to. I managed with a bit of practice. I particularly like the location, not on a heavy travel street & it was quiet. Yet you could walk around the corner and be in the thick of things. Walking to the center of old town was not far. Salzburg is a lovely town. I’ll be back.

A few days in Salzburg
Great: breakfast, staff, location, room was big. Not great: a/c seemed to be set so it couldn't go lower than 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Bad: the bathtub/shower is a 3' high step up with no safety rails. The tub is very slippery. It's an accident waiting to happen. Additionally, bathroom is dated and need a remodel

Access to Hotel is very difficult. Access to front door is from 0700 to 1100 hours Monday - Friday. There are posts in the street preventing access. Hotel needs to provide access instructions. Parking is several hundred meters away and not easily found. Hotel is not well marked and can be easily missed. Room was large and very nice! Shower had lots of hot water. Shower was poorly designed and kept spraying water outside the tub. Hotel is well located, within walking distance of the old part of Salzburg. Very good breakfast. Staff generally speak English well.

What a lovely hotel! Everything was very clean and comfortable. In the evenings, we spent much time downstairs near the bar and reception area.
