This was a last minute overnight stay with my 7 year old son after visiting my parents. We stayed here in 2019 when it was Marriott and they've only made it more exquisite. From the welcoming front desk staff with champagne, to the friendliest server Jodi at Monkey Bar for breakfast, to the staff at the pool, private beach, bell, you name it.... every staff member here is wonderful.

Magnificent Hotel
This hotel is one of the best that my wife and I have ever visited. It is a magnificent compound in a great location to all that Delray Beach has to offer - restaurants and the beach. The staff could not be nicer and more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool view was great which did include a good view of the ocean. The only negative was construction work in the pool area but it is understood that it is temporary and the pool area will be even better once completed. We certainly will stay again even though it is expensive but you get what you pay for.

For my mom’s Birthday, we stayed at Opal for as staycation. It was really great! When we checked in, they gave us complementary champagne. The hotel was beautiful and our room with the oceanfront view was incredible. We’ll definitely be back.

Consider another part of Florida
The lobby is beautiful and a good place to meet friends (we were there for a wedding). But the service at this hotel wasn’t great. Very difficult to obtain non-down pillows. Lots of confusion among staff when requests were made. The pool is pretty overcrowded and we are not in peak season yet. We heard the rooms at the Seagate were more updated/better.

We booked our stay Tuesday thru Saturday, we had to leave Saturday morning due to our house being damaged by the hurricane. They refused to refund the one night stay. Also practiced price gouging by charging $100.00 per night for our 17 lb dog.

Everything with this hotel was fantastic. We were so very disappointed we had to cut our vacation short due to the pending Hurricane 🙁. The hotel staff were understanding about our concerns.
