Great stay. Friendly efficient staff
It was 30 degrees in FL. The 2nd floor hallway was cold! A breeze came under the door, so I put a rolled up towel in front of it. The heater in the room worked great but the floor was cold. Room was very clean. Very functional room. So glad there was a refrigerator, microwave, & coffee maker. Breakfast was good. Good coffee. Scrambled eggs everyday and sausage links or patties. Corned beef hash once. One day, out of 4, they put out shredded cheese which was a great addition to the eggs. The great part was the super efficient and very friendly staff. Great location near downtown New Port Richey.

Comfortable but in a world of choice…
Newer hotel. Signs of wear on walls and bathroom already showing. Bed is comfortable. Check in is interesting as front desk staff asked for every adults ID. I have never had that happen before. Huge gaps at bottom of doors so it’s loud in rooms from hallway traffic. Shower stall missing drain cover and shower head sprayed irregular due to hard water not being cleaned off. Area has a lot of homeless people. Probably wouldn’t stay here again just from the bad vibes.

Good job all the way around!
The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in and also check us out was pleasant, approachable, and helpful. We noticed that the staff made a point to say "good morning" to us. The man who was in charge of the breakfast area was very pleasant and helpful. He was on top of the serving line and made sure is was kept clean and stocked. He was saying "good morning" to everyone who ate there. I attempted to tell the manager about his good service, but the manager was busy with another customer at the time. From what I heard, the breakfast area man had only been there a month.

Frustrating moments
Staff was very nice. Hotel seemed new. Our room could have been cleaner, but I have high standards there. I don’t like feeling dirt on my feet & the floor was very dirty in that manner. My 2 big gripes was no hot water and the room wouldn’t stay warm. The first 2 days the water just got barely warm. The 3rd day it wouldn’t get warm at all. Day 4 we just didn’t shower because it wouldn’t get warm. Staff very nice but clueless. I’m assuming maintenance wasn’t on site due to it being Christmas eve. The air unit drove us crazy. Constantly ran, even if you had it set to off. Blew cold air while set to warm & was so loud. Just constant loud.
