Lovely area great views. Restaurants nearby were fine. Room was clean although floor probably needed better vacuum. We moved rooms as receptionist warned showers had been repaired. They were not working very hot no cold coming through but opted to stay in room as view good.

The outside of property was dirty. The inside decor was tired there was bad smell of drug taking outside property
Rooms tired bad stains on chair. Lights not working. Extractor fan wasn’t working on bathroom.

It was stunning the view from balcony amazing.. Room clean as a whistle.. Had to wait for some room service due to staffing issues but won't hesitate to go back thee again

Me and my partner stayed here for the night we had an amazing night the view of the lake was really nice from the balcony and the place was really tidy so can’t complain about any of that but one thing I would say that wasn’t the best was the loud music playing from the restaurant below it isn’t too loud but definitely not to the point you can’t sleep but overall our stay was really good and we’re happy with it

We had a good 2 nighys stay in this Ex Premier Inn.
Very comfortable bed. Unfortunately everything elsei is the same as when Premier Inn sold it, & in need of a good update but we would consider staying again in the future.

Willen lodge overnight stay
The hotel was located next to Willen Lake. A beautiful place to stay. The room was clean and tidy. Lucky to get a view if the Lake with a balcony. Not every room had this. Owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

The only this that was a shame was having to walk 5/8 mins to another hotel to have breakfast but other than that I’d highly recommend the hotel for anyone as if I am going back there I will be trying to get a room here before anywhere else

Fabulous customer service
Stayed one night after a holiday to break the journey home from airport. The room was basic but the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a bath as well as shower in the room. The outstanding part of the stay was the amazing customer service. The manager stayed up late waiting for us to arrive. He arranged for us to ring from the airport so he could be at reception waiting for us. He and his colleague (in the morning) were extremely friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again.

The stay was okay, the problem was the hotel charged me again months after the stay. Very dubious response when confronted. Police informed.

Clean rooms. Unfortunately was unable to get any sleep, as there is a really bright fire light in the room which can’t be switched off. Complained to the manager and was told that this is the same in all rooms and can’t be turned off. Otherwise would have given a good rating

Not ready for guests
Our room had a balcony door that wouldn’t lock and a window that wouldn’t close.
We were allocated a new room that we could close, but it was in poor condition, had no WiFi, no tea and coffee facilities, and just one musty smelling towel.
The manager informed us in the morning that we were the first guests to stay in that part of the hotel and they were using guests to flush out all of the issues. As guinea pigs really, trying to let out uninhabitable rooms and waiting for the unsuspecting guests to report the very obvious issues.
The only saving grace was the night receptionist and staff at the pub downstairs were very nice and were the doing the best with the poor situation they found themselves in.

I rarely give these but I’m afraid the Willen was poor on so many levels. When we got there we paid £15 per night per vehicle the Cleaning of the room was shocking with awful dust on walls headboard and lampshades. Housekeeping didn’t come in over out three night stay. My tv had clearly not been working on any channel for a while but luckily I packed a laptop. Internet was beyond shocking so had to tether to my phone to watch anything. It’s clear the hotel is struggling financially but these things are basic for travellers needs!
