I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The place didn’t look like the pictures at all—the floors weren’t finished, which made the entire experience feel incomplete and poorly maintained.
To make matters worse, there were no basic toiletries like toilet paper provided, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work the entire week. I had to rely on my own data, which ended up costing me significantly. I tried contacting customer service, and while they answered promptly, they weren’t directly connected to Barsala. They moved me to a bigger room, which I appreciated, but it still had the same issues: no floors and no working Wi-Fi.
I also tried reaching out to the property manager, Maggie, every day, and every time I was told she would call me back—but she never did. After all the inconvenience and the additional expenses for using my own data, there was no follow-up or compensation offered.
The only positives were the location and the nice rooftop view, but that’s not enough to justify the disappointing experience. For the price I paid, I expected much better.
