Nice traditional pub with rooms. Stayed in a family room which was very clean with everything you need. Friendly welcome from all of the staff and good vegetarian options on the menu and for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay and perfect room

Perfect stay, the photos on the website don’t do this place justice! My room was well sized and recently refurbished and spotless. Breakfast was really nice and free and was asked if I want more and was certainly full after it! Will be staying again soon.

Hidden gem !

What a lovely hotel- very comfortable room - amazing breakfast and lovely village location. We went on a fab walk from the hotel along the canal to welshpool and caught the bus back. Approx 6 mile walk . Really recommend this hidden gem !

Perfectly poached eggs!

A friend and I spent a long weekend here in order to visit Powis Castle nearby. We had a warm welcome, our room had been recently refurbished and tastefully decorated, keeping many original features of this very old building. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were lovely, and exceptionally clean. We had a meal in the evening and breakfast the next morning. Both were excellent. Car parking and access was easy. Im really looking forward to returning.
