When my wife and I checked in they asked for a 50 room deposit no problem but I booked and paid for the room in my name but used my wife’s credit card so because it wasn’t my card they wouldn’t except my wife’s license and card because she didn’t book. The room and mind you it was 130 in the morning we we are checking in tired from moving and traveling all day we are told the only way to get in our already paid room was to go find an ATM at 130 am an$ give them 100 dollars in cash we will never stay at a la Quinta again and the front desk staff was not helpful at all a threatened to refuse our room because of our displeasure and ridiculous rule of refusing my wife’s credit card payment because I booked the room

Frustrated
We had set up a room and when we got there, we were told we had to get a second room for our family. No discount, no warning, nothing. The pool needs scrubbed and my daughter had a reaction to it. The carpet had a rip spot in our room. The hallways need carpets cleaned. I was frustrated because they doubled the price of our stay and there wasn't anything we could do because of the timing of it all.

When i got in i went to the front desk to check in and everything went good until they tried to charge me an extra $50 which i was not told on the website or by phone when i called the hotel to find out about pricing. I did not have an extra $50 on my card so even though i paid $205.00 for my room for two nights in advance i was told she could not give me my room and was turned away after a 6hr drive from lubbock tx to forthworth tx it was very inconvenient. Luckily i had family to send me money through venmo otherwise i would of been on the streets or back in the car heading back home.

Save yourself - NEVER stay here
THE MOST RUDE, UNHELPFUL STAFF I HAVE EVER HAD THE DIS-PLEASURE staying at - save yourself misery and stay at the Hampton Inn down the block- now they now what customer service is. This place didn't tell us the water would be shut off for 6 hours and never told us if or when it would be back on no matter how many times we asked. They should not have jobs and the staff including the manager should be fired.

Just a basic hotel room. So no real complaint about not getting what was asked. The cleanliness though is not great. Moldy corners in the shower, curtains had stains on them, hallway rug had lots of stains, room chair was disgusting.

Breakfast is ready
My stay was pretty good. The only complaint I have is my room was next to the area where they served breakfast. They may as well have prepared everything in my room! It was like they were standing over me cooking! The noise at 5 am every morning was crazy, as if they didn’t know it was an occupied room next door. You could hear the pots and pans and utensils knocking against the others. At one point it sound like furniture was being moved. This was daily for three days. When mentioned to the front desk staff, they looked at me as if I had made all of this up.

Lighting (lamp) issues were a problem. TV and room phone did NOT work at all.
Bathroom toilet seat was unclean. When preparing to take a shower, a used small towel from a previous occupant was hanging on top of the shower curtain. Called the front desk with cell phone twice. Each time the phone rang twice but then nothing. Waited a few minutes, called again, then spoke to a desk attendant. Attendant was nice but not able to rectify any of the issues mentioned. No longer a fan of La Quinta hotels.
