Ok- you get what you pay for.
Toilet was clogged not long after we checked in. Called the front desk for help and never heard anything back. Called the next morning and still nothing. Tracked down a housekeeper but there was a language barrier. Had to go to front desk to try to get this sorted out. Was offered that we could use the office toilet, but seeing as I was paying for a room I’d kinda like to sue the one that I paid for.., Finally someone from maintenance came by and fixed the issue, but wouldn’t had been resolved had I not been proactive. Issue 2- only one set of towels for two people. Never resolved. Issue 3- 3 nights with zero housekeeeping. Bed was hard and pillows were cheap. Floor was dirty- serious grocery store feet from walking around the room.

Not a clean hotel
The Chateau is an older, renovated hotel, making it an acceptable choice for a reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff made our experience less than satisfactory. On late check-in, we were told that the room we had reserved with a king-size bed wasn't available. We accepted a room with two queen-size beds but found that one bed had several blood stains on the sheets, and the one we slept in had stains. The following day, we requested that the bed sheets be changed, and they only changed the bed with the blood-stained sheets. Additionally, they forgot to clean the room and left a trash bag inside the front door. There were a few bugs inside and outside our room, which wasn't surprising because the cleaning crew left dirty laundry and leftover food outside our room for two days. In summary, this wasn't the best hotel experience. The check-in staff was great, and the heated pool was nice, but the cleaning crew didn't do their job during our stay.

When we first pulled in I was nervous but the outside front of building is deceiving because once we opened the door the room was very nice! We stayed in December for a baseball tournament the property was a super convenient location. The pool was warm so we could enjoy it even in the colder temps we had. The restaurant right next door was phenomenal! Every employee we encountered was super friendly especially Curtis! We had some good laughs with him!

What a wonderful stay. Staff is great, a special thanks to Shirley. Pool warm. Enyed the beach from the balcony. Many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are old but for a budget hotel the best I have ever stay in in the US.

First, I like the point out of special things and gratitude Three special and awesome people! Debroah Front Desk concierge she is absolutely spectacular! She is not a manager, but she should be. She has all the skills and qualifications make you feel at home.! I like to think Miss Patty had of housecleaning over another wonderful person. Miss Shelly Who kept my room in excellent condition made sure I had clean towels and everything I need for myself and my daughters. Matter fact, Stay was so wonderful were extending for another week! 😁 Myself being involved in VRBO Airbnb industry, dealing with guest owners every day. It’s nice to be on the receiving side and excellent service. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Great Thanks, Jackson Ladies!
