"What a special spot! We loved everything about our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Our host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. "Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. Sadly, there was only one other person there and this was in the middle of August. We just loved the multi coloured rooms: very different and refreshing. "There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. "Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress. The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "
