False advertisement and Unprofessional

My stay was ok. When I arrived and checked in, they didn't assign me the room that I purchased. I booked a king, and they gave me 2 queen beds. I payed a little extra for the king when I booked, so I feel like I should be entitled to a refund of the difference that I paid. Got to my room, it was nice. I noticed black spots on the wall and ceiling. They were bugs that was killed and no one cleaned them off the wall or ceiling. I called the front desk, and they sent Maintenace upstairs and he replied,' what am I supposed to do about that". Very unprofessional. They didn't have any more rooms available for me to switch. I was very nice and cooperative about both situations but in the future I will not book again.

Great hotel with awesome view

It was great! Right on the water. Nice balcony and view. Restaurant was nice to have a snack and or drink. Staff was very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend! My only complaint would be the pot smoke that filled our hallway! This is a completely non smoking hotel, but it didn’t slow somebody down! It was awful!

Great place when you need to get away.

Enjoyed every moment. From checking in, the room was clean, roomy, all employees that I encountered were helpful. Breakfast was great. Great location, I was able to park my car on Friday and did not need it until check out. I have not stayed at a Holiday Inn in years!! But this hotel (21st St), will see me again

Great Experience and Value!

Great location in the heart of VB. Ocean view was great, especially in the morning. Very clean, comfortable for all of our family of five. Hemingways restaurant in the hotel had great dinner and breakfast options. It was nice that they provide kids eat free vouchers when adding on breakfast for two. I would and plan to stay here again.

High quality experience

We found the room to be clean and, unlike many beach-side hotels, the facilities and rooms did not show excessive wear and tear. Staff was personable and kind. View was awesome. Price was fair. We would both return to this hotel and recommend it highly to others.

Shame

We arrived at 5pm and told our room wasnt ready. We were offered a couple drinks at the bar or 2 breakfast vouchers as compensation. Not money off the bill. 220 for 1 night and could not get into a room til after 6. This is the worst holiday inn i have ever stayed at! I get its a beach front room but was not worth the price. Every other holiday inn ive stayed at already had a complimentary breakfast,this one charges 15 per adult!
