We always like this property and the location. We were on the first floor which was nice and convenient. Except we had an adjoining room to someone else. You could hear everything through the adjoining door and they were super loud late into the night. After the first two nights i asked the front desk if they were friends/family and he said they were a company. They weren’t. There were women and a man, the door was always left open and the maid cart was left right outside it every day. Regardless, I told him I thought it was poor judgment to put us next door in an adjoining room. I’ll definitely mention this next time. And there will be a next time because we do like this property. It was just an unfortunate situation.

Just okay
The room was fine and the person checking in was lovely, I believe her name was Patricia. But the Jacuzzi was barely warm, it was so filthy outside where people had left trash, towels, cups, and cans, and all kinds of nastiness. When we asked about the Jacuzzi being turned on, the person at the counter said they would send maintenance, but it never showed up.

Nice Area
We stayed 2 nights, added on the second night lasy minute. It was easy and they were accommodating. Its right next to the flower walk, we didnt stop by, but its nice to see as you drive out.

Peaceful vacation

Great location, beware pool was closed
I drove from Arizona on family vacation. Arrived sometime between 7-8 pm. The girl behind the desk was not welcoming and made me wait few although I was the only one checking in. She said she would be with me in a minute. I noticed that the pool, hot tub and fitness center was closed. I asked her if I can get a discount because I took a room overlooking the pool for extra charge. She said she can’t do that, maybe because I used 3 rd party to pay for hotel. She did not explain or try to fix the situation. Still charged me resort fee although more than half resort fee amenities are unusable. She seemed like I was annoying her with my questions and presence. I was disappointed. I hate paying extra for something that I can’t use. The room was nice. The office offered great coffee. And the morning lady was super nice and told us how to walk to the beach. Overall great location the outlets across the street are amazing.

We enjoyed our stay here as a family of four. The grounds were nice and kids had room to play. Location was great for us as we were visiting Legoland and the Carlsbad Flower Fields. I wish they had notified us in advance the pool was being remodeled. We likely would have stayed elsewhere. Kids were disappointed they could not swim.
