The owner Taketo san (and his family) is very nice and helpful. He is very informative about the Island and speaks good English. He told me about the interesting stuff in the Island and gave me very good suggestions to me when my original plans failed (eg. tours cancelled, ship schedule suspended, etc...). The food prepared by his wife Tomoko san was excellent. They aims to introduce you with the taste of Yakushima and provided detailed introduction to me before the meals. The room was comfortable and clean. Very nice time there and definitely recommend to everyone going to stay in Yakushima!
