Great hotel!!
We stayed 3 nights in a business class junior suite, the room was amazing! So much room, the bathroom was huge and the bed was very comfortable! We did not have housekeeping the entire time we were there, at our request, however, I would go down the hall and greet the housekeeper at her cart and she would give me waters and more coffee pods! If we return to Minneapolis, we will for certain stay at this hotel!

The carpet is discombobulating, like an optical illusion. The elevator is so fast it’s like a carnival ride that leaves your stomach in your throat. Interesting that there is no microwave and you have to travel to another floor to be able to use one. While the staff was very nice, it was interrupting to have cleaning see if we were gone yet before 11am checkout.

They only service your room if you request it but they don’t tell you that at check in. By the time we got back to the room and realized that (maybe 2:30pm) we were told nobody was in the hotel to service anymore. They next day we requested service but didn’t happen because not enough staff. Other than that a nice stay. Good location and would stay again. Hotel bar is decent but isn’t open during the day and closes a touch early

Dont count on the skywalk after events.
We booked the Royal Sonesta because its proximity to the Target Center and the skywalk. The skywalk website said it would be open until midnight after the Matt Rife show, so we were rather disappointed when we got all the way back to the hotel and found the gate into the Sonesta closed at 930. If we were going to be going outside and crossing streets we could have stayed at any hotel in the area. Our room also had a window, but it went into the building.
