Lots of add-on fees
The hotel was nice, but turned out to be a lot more expensive than expected! The Renaissance charges for everything: wifi, parking, breakfast, etc. What's more, the prices they quoted us were higher than listed on the hotels.com site: for example, 18 dollars for parking (actual) versus 14 (quoted). We were fairly typical Dallas visitors: 2 people with one car who both want to eat breakfast and use Wifi. Over two days, these additional charges came out to over $100 for things that, IMO, should be free (it's not like there's a shortage of parking spots at this hotel or in Dallas in general, and I can get internet at my apartment for $20/month).
